Our story
Made by hand. Sold with love.
Crummy Goods Bakery started as a weekend and holiday treat that refused to stay a hobby. Here's how it happened.
It started with a passion for creating unique, hand-made gifts for friends and family.
Many years ago, the founder of Crummy Goods Bakery learned how to bake cream pies with her mother. This turned into a passion for baking that continues today. After realizing that home-made baked goods are a perfect gift for friends and family, she decided that would be her gifts going forward. Throughout the years, she curated her recipes to create one of a kind treats that those around her have grown to love. She recently discovered her passion for making macarons with the unlimited possibilities they create. This started her on the path to create Crummy Goods Bakery to share with others her passion for quality baked goods.
The name came from a joke. Like "Yummy", it is a little play on words since baked goods can be crummy. It stuck. Because that's exactly the point: rustic, imperfect, made by hand, and better for it.
Every item we sell is made in small batches, from scratch, for each market. No shortcuts. No ingredients you can't pronounce. Just real food, baked with care, and sold to people who appreciate the difference.
Nothing you can't pronounce.
What we believe
The way we work.
Real ingredients only
We use real butter, quality flours and sugars and well ripened bananas. If we can't say what's in it, we don't put it in.
Small batches, every time
We bake for each market — macarons are made a few days ahead of time so they are perfectly seasoned and kept frozen for each market. Once thawed, they are perfection. The cookies and breads are made fresh and never frozen.
Honest craft
No shortcuts. No preservatives. Just the kind of baking that takes time and tastes like it.
Community first
Pop-up markets are about more than selling. They're about showing up, connecting, and being part of something local.
